Our Story
During 2013, some dancers and club heads felt unhappy about their circumstances within DanceSport. The 5 Directors of SACWD decided to take the lead and to provide a non-political and democratic environment where dancers and club heads could be happy and could love what they do best – DANCING!
The
Dancers will also be able to take part in the WCDF World championship.
The
- The
SACWD honor the achievements of the top Country & Western Dancers in the Country each year. - To work in harmony, advice, assist and coordinate with the Dance Studios/Clubs & Schools via District and Provincial level to promote Country Dancing in all communities, especially amongst the youth in South Africa.
- To provide policies to benefit all Country Dance members.
- To encourage the Dancers, Studios/Clubs & Schools to promote and develop Line Dance and Country Couples as well as similar dance styles in the Country.
